Viewing reports in the HCL Quality Server

With Unified Reporting, all the project stakeholders can view the test reports for multiple testing products on a single dashboard. You can access this dashboard from a web browser. Therefore, there is no need to install the product. The Integration Test Result Report type that is available to be published to the Unified Reporting is the Test Suite type.

Before you can view the integration test results on the Unified Reporting dashboard, you must first publish the test reports from HCL OneTest™ API.

You can configure HCL OneTest API to publish the test results automatically to the Unified Reporting dashboard whenever you run a test suite. For information about publishing the test reports automatically, see Publishing test results to Unified Reporting.

You can also select and publish existing test results from HCL OneTest API to the Unified Reporting dashboard. For more information, see Publishing existing test suite results to Unified Reporting.

The Unified Reporting dashboard uses REST APIs to enable the publishing of the HCL OneTest API test suite result reports from HCL OneTest API. For more information about the REST APIs, see Unified Reporting REST APIs.

Watch this community for a blog about setting up HCL OneTest API to automatically publish the test result reports and also publish the existing reports to Unified Reporting.

On the Unified Reporting dashboard, you can sort and filter test reports, get a holistic view of your application from an HCL OneTest API perspective, and lock or unlock the specific reports. For details, read this blog or watch this video on YouTube.
