Creating defects in Team Foundation Server change management tool

When the integration with the Team Foundation Server change management tool is set up, you can create the defects directly from HCL OneTest™ API.

Before you begin

Set up integration with the change management tool that you want to raise a defect with. For more information, see Setting up the integration with the change management tools.

About this task

To raise a defect:

Procedure

  1. Open the Change Management dialog. For more information, see Creating defects in the integrated change management tool.
  2. Select the Team Foundation Server from the Integration list.
  3. Specify the details for the defect and click Create.

    The new defect is created as requested in the selected change management system.
