Working with WebSphere transports

HCL OneTest™ API creates an WebSphere® MQ transport when you create a physical WebSphere MQ Queue Manager resource in Architecture School.

Creating a WebSphere transport

You can create a WebSphere MQ transport by using either of the following methods:

  • In the Logical View, right-click a WebSphere MQ Queue Manager, and click Set Binding in, the relevant environment, and Create new IBM® WebSphere MQ Queue Manager on the menus.
  • On the Physical View’s toolbar, click IBM > IBM WebSphere MQ Queue Manager.

Each physical resource represents an WebSphere MQ Queue Manager transport that can be selected and configured later.

Note: The physical MQ resource must be bound by using an environment to a logical WebSphere MQ Queue Manager at run time.
