Viewing the configuration and log files

To troubleshoot issues while working with the CICS® Transaction Gateway, you can use the configuration (ctg.ini) and log files.

Locating the files

  • On Windows computers, the default location of the configuration (ctg.ini), log, and trace files is C:\ProgramData\HCL\HCLProducts\CICS Transaction Gateway.
  • On non-Windows computers, the default location of the configuration (ctg.ini), log, and trace files is /var/cicscli.
